RIGHT GROUP CONDENMS ABDUCTION OF ABUJA BASED PUBISHER BY NIGERIA POLICE FORCE.



Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria has condemned the alleged abduction of an Abuja based publisher Inuwa Bwala by men of the Nigeria from Borno State.

Coordinator of HURIWA Emmanuel Onwubiko who spoke to journalists in Abuja decried the action of the security agents as another attack at the media from the executive.

According to Onwubiko the abducted Bwala is a seasoned newsman who had served as commissioner for information in Borno State for eight years adding that his present ordeal could be politically motivated.
                 
HURIWA urged President Muhammadu Buhari not allow high-handedness and often times trigger happiness of Nigerian security officials paint a wrong picture of his administration as one that condones brutality.

The group is concerned that Bwala’s life may be in danger considering the circumstances surrounding his abduction.
