The save Meka concert which took place over the weekend was a huge success with people coming out in droves to support one of Abuja s finest Presenters. the event which was put together by Radio and TV Stations in the federal capital and an entertainment firm Yankitec.
Comedians Mr Ibu, Julius Agu and AY were on ground to spice the event and apart from performing they also ensured that guest parted with tokens to meet the target set by organizers of the event for Meka Akerejola.

The highpoint of the occasion was when the broadcast station tried outdoing one another during the pledge and donations, at the end of it all over a million Naira was realized from pledges and donation with an anonymous person giving one thousand dollars for the course.
