Barde who paid his maiden visit to Enugu Air Force Unit on Wednesday said the action was in compliance to President Jonathan’s directive that military contingent be sent to assist the country to contain the jihad fighters in Mali.
He emphasised that the force planes have arrived in Port-Harcourt.
Barde says he expect the officers to do what President Jonathan has directed that we do; theb directive is to go and assist Mali in repelling the jihad fighters there because if they are not stopped now they might infiltrate into Nigeria.
Masquerade234 gathered that the officers are going there to fight the rebels and also protect our borders.
