PRESIDENT JONATHANJOIN NIGERIAN WORKERS IN CELEBRATING WORKERS DAY.

For the first time in years President Goodluck Jonathan graced the workers day parade at the Eagle square Abuja, where he challenged members of the Nigeria Labour Congress to adopt what he termed peer action in the fight against corruption.

President Jonathan called on labour to compliment efforts of government in the fight against corruption, adding that perpetrators of alarming cases of corruption which his administration is accused of are mostly civil servant.

The President further said he is committed to strengthening democratic institution that will ensure good governance in Nigeria.
