NIGERIA AND UNITED STATE OF AMERICA COLLABORATE TO FIGHT TERRORISM.

 Federal Government has sought the assistance of the United States of America to introduce modern technology to secure the nation’s  porous borders as well as assist in tackling the current security challenge in the country.
Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who said  Nigeria is going to procure a new technology known as Pises through the assistance of the United State, that would help the country secure its wide borders from infiltration. According to Moro manning the nation borders id beyond human methods and that the partnership with the United State will ensure adequate security at the nations borders.

Meanwhile the Inspector- General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar also appelled to foreign missions operating in Nigeria to assist with technical and manpower training to enable Nigeria tackle terrorism
Abubakar made the appeal at his maiden meeting with the security Attaches of more than 40 foreign embassies in the country at the Force Headquarters.
The minister noted that  terrorists have learnt to evade the traditional systems of detection and expressed government’s willingness to  use every available resource to prevent evil-minded foreign elements from causing havoc in the country.
Masquerade234 gathered that the new mandate given to security agencies is to ensure total security in the entire country, so as to give the citizens a sense of belonging and attract foreign investment to Nigeria, how and when this would be achieved still remains a mystery.
