SOME ANGRY NIGERIANS ATTACK SOUTH AFRICA BUSINESSES IN NAIJA.

Some disgruntled Nigerians have attacked the DSTV Office in Maitama in retaliation of the xenophobic attack on Nigerians and there businesses in South Africa. Glass windows, cars were destroyed while those that gained entry carted away laptops and other office equipment’s.

Masquerade 234's visit to the premises met an empty office with broken glasses around the area. One of the security men at the office confirmed the incident and when asked where staff members were, he said they have all gone home following the incidents.


Some passerby said they just started running when they saw people running, one who wanted to remain anonymous affirmed that the police officers who stormed the premises used tear gas to disperse the hoodlums.

He stated further that some early customer at the DSTV premises where dispossessed of their belongings like handset, money and other valuables.

FCT Police Command says the situation is still being investigated, and that anybody found wanting would be dealt with decisively.


Meanwhile analysts believe it is retaliatory in respect to what Nigerians suffered in the hands of South Africans during the recent xenophobic attack on Nigerians.
