National
Assembly leadership crisis seems far from been over as a serious fight broke
out among members of the House of Representatives, with some federal lawmakers
exchanging blows.
Both
faction in the divided house had a brawl during plenary and this led to the
mace of the House to be ferried away to safety.

After
several minute of stalling Thursday plenary the house reconvened and Speaker of
the House Honourable Yakubu Dogara addressed his colleagues.
Dogara
also called for unity amongst members of the House of Representative, because of
the enormous job at hand.
The Speaker
also affirmed the need to address the issues dividing member of the House
urgently, after which he adjourned plenary to the 21st of July 2015
