Transport Employers Association of Nigeria has urged the new administration of
President Mohammadu Buhari to set up a transport Bank to help investors in the
sector.
Speaking with Masquerade234 after the inauguration ceremony in Abuja, National President of the
Association Shehu Isiwele says there is need for government to help the land
transport sector in the country.
Isiwele
also used the occasion to commend the Goodluck Jonathan's administration for construction
and rehabilitation of Nigerians roads.
He
urged the new administration to do more by re-introducing tool gates on major
highways in the country, adding that it will go a long way in maintaining
Nigerian roads.
Isiwele
called for full co-operation of Nigerian citizens so as to ensure success for
the Buhari/Osibajo administration.
