Nigeria Armed forces have
continued their onslaught against Boko Haram in the dreaded Sabisa forest in
the North East of the country.
Addressing newsmen the Director of
Defense Information Major General Chris Olukolade says the joint operation of the
armed forces is yielding positive results and the effort would be sustained.
Olukolade told Masquerade234 that the dislodged and
disorganized terrorist are in scampering in different direction in the
expansive forest, adding that the more victims of the terrorist are still been rescued and that presently those
rescued are been screened and profiled to ascertain their true identity.
General Olukolade affirmed that the
screening is yielding results and useful information for the operations.
He however reiterated that the essence of the
operation is not kill everybody insight, while encouraging combatants who are
desirous to surrender to come out as the forest will no more be tenable for
their activities.
