President
Goodluck Jonathan is recuperating in London after medical
practitioners examined him and put him on bed rest. President Jonathan flew to London on
Wednesday to attend Nigeria’s Honorary
International Investors’ Council in London, however due to the bed rest he could not attend the opening of the meeting.
Special Adviser to
the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, however, assured Nigerians that Jonathan’s health did not call for
concern as the check-up was only precautionary.
President Jonathan has since been examined by competent medical practitioners. He has been advised to rest for a few days.
