All Progressive Congress is calling for the outright
cancellation of Anambra election and conduct of a fresh election so that the
people of Anambra state can elect a governor of their choice.
Their demand was conveyed in a letter addressed to
the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Professor
Attahiru Jega.

Akande emphasized that last Saturday election in Anambra was fraught with
irregularities, fraud and malpractice.
Bisi Akande also urged INEC to stop planned
supplementary election in Anambra insisting that should INEC not heed their
plea, they would then head to court.
