FORMER CDS DIRECTOR GENERAL IS DEAD

Former Director General, Centre for Democratic Studies, Prof. Omo Omoruyi

A former Director-General of Center for Democratic Studies, Prof. Omo Omoruyi is dead. Omoruyi died on Sunday in Benin, a month after returning from overseas treatment for cancer.

Undisclosed source told Masquerade234 that Profesor Omoruyi died at Mediplex Hospital, Benin. He had been battling with cancer for years.

In a recent interview he granted he told reporters in frustration that his friends including former military leader, General Ibrahim Babangida have all abandoned him. he will be remembered for all his political postulation as director general of center for democratic studies. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
