Contrary to public opinion that a constitutional
crisis is playing out in Taraba State over the long absence of the governor in
the state due to injuries sustained in a plane crash, Commissioner of
Information, Culture and tourism of the State Emmanuel Bello says the state is
running normal.
Speaking to Masquerade234 at the press gallery
flagship roundtable discussion, Emmanuel Bello says the acting governor of the
state is exercising all constitutional powers in accordance to the
constitution.
When asked what the current state of health of
governor Danbaba Suntai is, Emmanuel Bello says the Governor Suntai is
recuperating well and will soon be back into the country.
Governor Danbaba Suntai was involved in a plane
crash on the 25th of October 2012 and is presently in the United
State recuperating.
