Nigeria is set to celebrate it one hundred anniversary as a Nation with a new city along Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport express way. Head of the Special Committee for the centenary celebration and secretary to the government of the federation Anyim Pius Anyim presented a twenty three page concept document to the senate.

other activities planned includes the construction of Abuja City Gate, Unity Square in every State, ICT center in all universities,Police Crime laboratories and modern libraries in the six geopolitical zone.

The highpoint of the presentation by Anyim was that government plans to finance the project by soliciting for funds from the private sector, a move that did not go down well with members of the national assembly.
