BANKS IN KANO CLOSE SHOP ABRUPTLY DUE TO BOMB SCARE
After the weekend attack on the Emir of Kano last weekend and subsequent travel to London for treatment of gun shot wounds, the city of Kano was still under siege on Monday, As Banks in the city were forced to close shop following the recovery and detonation of high caliber Improvised Explosive Devices(IEDs) planted in one of the first generation banks located within the Kano Business District.
Masquerade234 gathered that the bomb was strategically concealed under one of the bank official’s car, but it was removed by the anti -bomb disposal team and detonated.
Policemen from the Kano state command of the force arrived the scene and condoned off the affected area on Murtala Muhammad.
The development forced banks in the troubled city to hurriedly close shop as customers who besieged the banks were locked out.
