BOMB EXPLOSION ROCKS KANO MARKET, KILLING TWO PEOPLE

                                          

 An explosion rocked Kantin Kwari textile market in Kano State killing two people this morning. The explosion was reported to have occurred along the road around Kofar Mata area of the market when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) went off.

Information reaching Masquerade234 says the Joint Task Force reportedly ordered the closure of the market so as to forestall another possible bomb threat. however Eyewitnesses confirmed that the Explosive  was kept inside a carton, where it exploded at about 8:45AM, as traders and their customers arrived the market for the day’s business.

The bomb exploded, but the casualties recorded was low because people were yet to come out for the days business before the bomb exploded. But the impact destroyed some part of Eid prayer ground’s fence.
