JIGAWA STATE DEPUTY SPEAKER DIES IN GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT

Deputy Speaker Jigawa State Inuwa Sule Udi

Jigawa State House of Assembly has been thrown into mourning as Deputy Speaker, Inuwa Sule Udi died on Thursday in Kano.

Mr. Udi, who was en route his country home, Ringim, from Kano but was involved in a fatal accident at Jogana Village along Kano- Hadejia road.

Mr. Udi, 52, represented Ringim Constituency in the state House of Assembly since 1999, was elected deputy speaker after the 2003 election.

He is survived by two wives and many children.
