Police of the Bode Thomas division of the command have arrested a woman for allegedly setting her 11years old maid on fire for stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup. the maid identified as Ita Bassey-Eno who narrowly escaped death, is currently at the burns and trauma center of the Gbagada general hospital with doctors battling to save her life.

Her madam Mrs Nkese Iroakasi however denies the allegations at the police station, but Eno confirmed that she poured Kerosene on her before striking the matches to set her ablaze.
