President Buhari says his administration
is willing to persuade the Boko Haram insurgents into accepting peace.
He says if Boko haram insurgents can be
persuaded he will use government institutions in doing so to enhance effective
development of infrastructures in the country and for peace to reign.
President Buhari spoke when Christian faithful
in the Federal Capital Territory paid him a traditional homage at Christmas at
his residence in Abuja.
He said there can be no meaningful development
in a nation if not secured as being done by the military, adding that citizens
should pray for the nation.
The President affirmed that the country
can still overcome the problems bedeviling it as it is believed globally that Nigeria
is great but only needs reorganization and getting the right leadership in place.
