VIOLENCE ERUPT AT APC HEADQUARTERS OVER KOGI ELECTION

In Nigeria the political crisis rocking the north central state of Kogi seems to be taking a twist for the worse. Earlier today Masquerade234 gathered that the All Progressive Party has resolved to give the ticket to Yahaya Bello who was runners up at the APC primaries that Late Abubakar Audu won. 

The party hierarchy have concluded plan to unveil Yahaya Bello, a decision that is not going down well with some party supporters.  Vehicle shields were smashed and some other vehicle destroyed even journalist covering the incident were attacked and some unlucky ones were beaten and equipment destroyed.

Some thugs numbering over a thousand attempted to attack the party's choice in the December 5th supplementary election, Yahaya Bello as he arrived the secretariat this afternoon to attend a meeting with top party leaders. The thugs engaged the supporters of Yahaya in a free for all fight. 

As at the time of filing this report some Police Officers and other security agents were working to restore law and order in that part of town.
