GARKI MARKET TRADERS SET FOR SHOWDOWN OVER LACK OF BASIC FACILITIES

Traders of Garki Model Market are complaining about lack of basic service delivery by the Abuja Market Management Limited their service provider. 

Some of the traders who spoke to Masquerade234 say the Abuja Market Management limited should provide other services apart from sanitation and security.

The Traders wonder what the facility managers do with the service charge they collect from them monthly. The urged the facility managers to provide a pharmacy and fire station incese of emergency.

Reacting to the traders complain, Public Relations Officer of Abuja Market Management Limited, Innocent Amechina says without payment of service charge, it will be difficult to provide services.

He urged the traders to ensure that they all pay the service charge, so as to get all the basic amenities they need in the market.

Garki Market is one of the foremost markets in the FCT and it attracts an average of five hundred thousand people daily who come to purchase various items from the market.
