FORMER NAFDAC BOSS DORA AKUNYILI PASSES ON IN INDIA

We've heard rumours of her death a few times before but unfortunately this time it's for real. Former Director General of NAFDAC and former Minister of Information Prof. Dora Akunyili has died. She died in the Indian hospital where she was taken to on May 11 to receive medical treatment after her health deteriorated.

Professor Dora Akunyili who took the fight against fake drugs in the country to perpetrators of such act who are mostly people of the eastern region where she hails from, braved the odds and boldly became a delegate to the ongoing National Conference taking place in the federal capital teritory and appeared frail to the chargering of Nigerians.
