Chief Edwin Clark |
Chief Edwin Clark says all those fighting
President Goodluck Jonathan because of the 2015 elections are actually fighting
God, who he said made it possible for Jonathan to become President.
Clark, a former Minister of Information, insisted
that the constitution permitted Jonathan to run twice, adding that as a lawyer
who had practiced for 50 years, he laughed when educated people said Jonathan
could not run because he has been sworn-in twice.
Clark said this when the Federal Capital
Territory chapter of South-South community leaders, chiefs and elders visited
him at his residence in Abuja.
He disclosed that since Chief Obafemi Awolowo and
Chief Adekunle Ajasin died, the Yoruba nation had no leaders, adding that Bola
Tinubu was only wasting his time moving about calling himself a Yoruba
leader.
