Arch Bishop Onayikan exchanging Pleasantries with first lady Patience Jonathan

The Federal Capital Territory Administration lite the 2013 FCT Xmas tree, according to the FCT minister of state Olajumoke Akinjide, the exercise is to promote love and peaceful coexistence between the people of Nigeria.

Akinjide also emphasized that the tree lighting is for the the entire country and not for residence of the Fct alone. the event had first lady and wife of the president as the special guest of honour, while the catholic arch bishop most reverend John Onayikan was the main preacher at the occasion.

The event saw many dignitaries and Nigerians in attendance.
