The much publicized Abuja National Carnival has come and gone but with most participants complaining about the low turnout of spectators. Stakeholders who spoke to Masquerade234 say since its a fiesta to showcase the rich cultural structure of Nigeria a lot should be done to publicize it properly.

According to the Minister of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation Edem Duke however said that due to paucity of funds, the organizers couldn't really publicize the event as expected. But the good thing about the 2013 edition of the carnival is the fact that many countries also participated at the carnival.
