MAN RAPES OWN DAUGHTER AND GRAND DAUGHTER

Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 49-year-old truck driver for allegedly raping his seven year-old daughter and his one-year-old granddaughter. The suspect, Sylvester Ehijere, allegedly disvirgined the two girls at his home located at 13 Kolawole Street, Ejigbo.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Ngozi Braide, stated that the case was reported by the wife of the suspect. The suspect’s wife Margeret, alleged that she kept her granddaughter who is 15 months old with her nanny and when she returned home, she noticed that the baby was crying.

On inspecting her body, she noticed blood stains at her private part. When she asked what happened, her seven-year-old daughter said it was her dad that did it. The daughter also alleged that he had raped her on numerous occassions. The children were later taken to Isolo General Hospital where it was confirmed that they had indeed been disvirgined.”
