President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked Nine cabinet members of his administration. Jonathan annouced the sack at the weekly federal executive council meeting which he presided over.

the Sacked Ministers are Ministers of Environment Hadiza Mailafia, Lands and Urban Development Ama Pepple, Education Ruqquayatu Rufai, National Planning Shamshudeen Usman, Science & Technology Ita Ewa, Foreign Affairs Olugbenga Ashiru, & ministers of state for Agric Bukar Tijana , Power Zainab Kuchi, Defence Olusola Obada.

Masquerade234 gathered that in a quick handing over ceremony at the ministry of Education, the education minister was very emotional thanked members of staff for the professional way they carried out their job and urged them to continue in that light.

She also informed the gathering that she will be returning to Bayero University in Kano state as Professor of curriculum studies.
