GAY PROTEST MARS COURT PROCEDDING IN ANAMBRA STATE

Inspite of a 14year jail term being punishment for engaging in gay activity in Nigeria, many young Nigerians seem ready to damn the law and face the consequences. A recent scenario played out in Anambra State where Litigants and witnesses at the Atani Chief Magistrate Court in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State as some people who claimed to be homosexuals nearly disrupted court proceedings in solidarity with two suspected homosexuals standing trial for allegedly committing same sex offense.

As early as 9 .00am, a large number of men with feminist outlook started gathering at the court premises to the surprise of the people around and it was only then that information filtered into the area that they came to identify with two of their members who were arrested by the police and charged to court for same sex violation related offense.

Masquerade234 believes the scenario would put a big question mark on the recently signed anti gay right law in the country and it also show that a lot of people in Nigeria are getting bold to stand by their sexuality, be assured that we will keep you informed as the whole scenario plays out. You can also post your comment and tell us what you think about this incidence
