CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA REACTS TO CATHOLIC CHURCH DECISION TO PULL OUT FROM THE ASSOCIATION.

Pastor Ayo Orisejafor
The last may not have been heard of the recent decision of the catholic church to pull out of the Christian Association of Nigeria, as the association told the Catholic Church to go ahead with its decision to pull out of the association.

The Public Relations Officer of the 19 Northern States of CAN and Abuja, Sunny Oibe, in an interview with journalists in Abuja accused Catholics of arrogance, adding that the recent action of the catholic Church was because of the loss they suffered in the election for the presidency of CAN to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.

Oibe said there is no need for anybody to lose sleep over the threat by Catholics to pull out of CAN because without them CAN will still continue. He went on further to state that the constitution of CAN made provision for membership to be terminated by any group that is misbehaving or for the any other reason.
