Unidentified gunmen invaded a place in Mubi Adamawa state close to
the Federal Polytechnic killing several students in an off-campus
accommodation. Emergency workers said they have mobilized several agencies to the area to carry out search and rescue operation.
The attack reportedly took place at Wuro Patuji, an area known to house students of the federal polytechnic, some residents put the number of victims at 35 persons. The dead and injured persons are mostly students of the polytechnic.
Unofficial report says the gunmen asked the students their names before killing them, an action speculating a religious cleansing of sooth.
Meanwhile the school authorities have not issued any official reaction on the attack.
Masquerade234 says these senseless killings of innocent student and future leaders of tomorrow must stop and military personel should be drafted immediately to mubi to restore order and protect the school.
