FARMERS COMMIT SUICIDE DUE TO FLOODINGS

Four farmers in Kogi State have committed suicide as a result of losses they incurred due to flood just as thousands of others have been displaced. President Goodluck Jonathan who disclosed this yesterday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital while undertaking a tour of the areas affected by flood  encouraged the Internally Displaced People, in Bayelsa State not to give up hope, assuring them that Federal Government was committed to rehabilitating them.

Jonathan emphasised that the four farmers in Kogi State committed suicide because they borrowed money from the bank to buy seeds and the flood destroyed it. the farmers were scared on how to repay the loan and due a bleak future they committed suicide.

Masquerade234 gathehred that President Jonathan urged the Internally Displaced People not to struggle for relief materials, adding that the flood has ravaged all the world, Asia, Europe, I know that Nigeria flooding is bad.
