SENATE SUMMONS MINISTER OF PETROLEUM

Worried by the perenial fuel scarcity across the country Nigeris Senate has summoned the Minister of Petroleum Diezani Alison-Madueke, NNPC Group Managing Director Andrew Yakubu for a consultative meeting.

also invited by the senate is the executive secretary of the Petroleum  Product Pricing Regulatory Agency Reginald Stanley as well as other stakeholders in the petroleum downstream sector.

They are all expected to appear before the senators Magnus Abe led committee on Petroleum Resources nest Tuesday. Senator Abe emphasised that the long queues of vehicles at filling stations across the country is UNACCEPTABLE.

Meanwhile information reaching Masquerade234 revealed that the scarcity will last another twoo weeks before it abates.
