Peoples Democratic Party is marking its Fourteenth anniversary
in a sober reflection without pomp and pageantry.
Addressing a world press conference as part of the
celebration, National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metu highlighted the party’s
achievement in the Last fourteen years.
Metu reiterated the fact that the Peoples Democratic
Party is the only national party in the country, with large pool of people from
all part of the country devoid of religious or ethnic sentiment.
Olisa Metu also admitted that it’s not been easy for Nigerians
in spite of PDP achievements, he appealed for patience from Nigerians as all is
set to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians soon. He was also quick to state that the celebrations will
low key in line with the current mood of the nation.
The People’s Democratic Party National Secretary
finally urged all Nigerians irrespective of their positions to work diligently to
develop the country noting that the country is bigger than any individual.
