NLC PLACE STRIKE COMMITTEE ON ALERT

Nigerian Labour Congress has placed its strike committee on red alert for an impending strike following the refusal of the minister of Power Professor Barth Nnaji to dialogue with electricity workers. Addressing newsmen today NLC berated the minster over what it described as uncomplimentary comments capable of jeopardizing on going peace talk between government and labour.

NLC also urged government to call the minster to order and create the enabling environment for meaningful. the federal government should do something really fast to stop the planned strike, Nigerians are the one suffering when it happens.
