The 2012 celebration will rounding off in the next twenty four hours but for residents of the FCT its been a bleak celebration due to the fuel scarcity rocking the nations capital. Tanker Drivers and Fuel marketers stopped supply of fuel to the FCT last week Monday and no meaningful negotiation was reached with government to end the crisis before the sallah holidays.
this development has made vehicular movement really scarce in the nations capital, with THE PRODUCT SELLING AT ASTRONOMICAL PRICES, ten liters goes for three thousand five hundred Naira while twenty liters goes for six thousand Naira, making impossible for the common man to purchase.
However its not the same story in other parts of the country as Lagosians thronged to the National Theater to enjoy family picnic while in Bauchi state there was a grand durbar to herald the sallah celebration.
Inspite of the ocean surge in Lagos and Boko Haram threat in Bauchi, Nigerians still know how to celebrate. FCT residents take heart their will be a next time or spoil yourself with movies just like me. .
