DANBABA SUNTAI DISSOLVES CABINET

Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State.

Political intrigues have continue to play out in Taraba State since the arrival of governor Danbaba Suntai, with the latest been the dissolution of the state executive council and the appointment of a new Secretary to the State Government and a new Chief of Staff.

Senior Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the governor, Silvanus Giwa announced the dissolution and new appointments at a news conference in Jalingo, He named the outgoing commissioner for Justice Timothy Kataps as the new SSG and Aminu Jika as the new Chief of Staff.

Giwa speaking on the orders of Suntai, said all commissioners and Special Adviser had been relieved of their appointment.

Deputy Governor of Taraba State Garba Umar

                                             

The State House of Assembly had on Tuesday announced that the Acting Governor Garba Umar would continue to act in that capacity until Suntai is able to appear before the lawmakers to confirm that the transmitted letter to the House is genuine.
