PRESIDENCY SLAMS ACTION CONGRESS OF NIGERIA OVER RIVERS CRISIS

Presidency has described call by the Action Congress of Nigeria for the removal of President Goodluck Jonathan from office over Rivers State crisis as a flawed position.

Addressing the press in Abuja the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Public Affairs Doyin Okupe says the president is not in any way connected to the or involved in the Rivers State Political Quagmire, adding that Governor Rotimi Amaechi is too small politically for President Jonathan to fight with.
