& Managing Polio Foundation (L.I.M.P) Embarks on Nationwide Media Tour

A humanitarian
foundation for people living with polio has embarked on a nationwide media
sensitization tour to inform stakeholders and the general public on its
programs.
According to the
founder of the organization Uche Nwaneri, a veteran journalist says the media
tour of radio and television stations is to create awareness for the
forthcoming official unveiling of the body at the Barcelona Hotel in Abuja on the
17th of September 2016.
The broadcast
journalist Uche Nwaneri, who has had over two decade sting in the broadcast
industry said L.I.M.P foundation is to amongst other things, advocate for those
living with Polio and press for their rights in Nigeria.
At a recent
media appearance on AIT flagship morning show KAKAAKI, Nwaneri: “We want to make society aware of the
correctable injustices currently being meted out to this unique group of
citizens”. I am calling on all and sundry to collaborate, participate and
sponsor as the drive is huge and will require good funding to empower and aid
this population” He concluded.
