President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominee list failed to reach the National Assembly on Wednesday as widely expected at plenary.
The Senators, who eagerly awaited the list, adjourned plenary to Tuesday next week.
Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district Dino Melaye as at 4:45pm told newsmen that the list had yet to reach the Senate.
However at exactly 6:11PM the Senate President Bukola Saraki through his twitter handle announced the release of the list by the Chief of staff to the President and Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly matters.
Meanwhile
President Buhari on Wednesday afternoon returned to Abuja from New York, US,
where he attended the 70th UN General Assembly.
President Buhari had consistently promised to unveil members of his cabinet in September, which ends today.
