The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential campaign
rally in Uyo the Akwa Ibom state capital has challenged the All Progressive
Congress Presidential Candidate Mohammadu Buhari to a National debate organized
by any group and any venue of his choice.
This is coming on the heels of the APC pulling out
from the National election Debate group organized debate, siting that the
President cronies are behind the debate.
Deputy National Chairman of the PDP Uche Secondus
threw the challenge emphasizing that President Jonathan is ready to debate with
his main challenger on the two major issues of insecurity and corruption.
Secondus also took a swipe at the governor of Rivers
State who is also director general of the Buhari campaign organization, alleging
that the governor has squandered about 3.3 trillion naira accruing to rivers
state in the last three years, adding that Buhari is enjoying proceeds from
corruption.
