Labour Party says it is appalled by the resolution reached
at the National Executive Council meeting of the All Progressive Congress on Thursday
23rd January 2014 asking its members to stall the passage of 2014
budget among other things.

addressing a press conference described APC proposition to the National Assembly
as a declaration of war on the Nigerian People.
He went on further to state that in decent democracies
Oppositions are known to be constructive, Adding that President Goodluck Jonathan should not allow himself to be
intimidated by the mischievous antics of APC Political leaders, who are so
desperate for power, that they not wish to wait for 2015 general elections.
