NLC PRESIDENT ASSURES NIGERIANS THAT THE FEDERAL GOVT WONT INCREASE THE PRICE OF FUEL IN 2013

President Nigeria Labour Conngress Abdulwaheed Omar has assured Nigerians that the federal government would not increase the pump price of petrol in the New Year. He gave the assurance in Lagos when he spoke to newsmen.

Omar emphasized that the populace are suffering a lot of hardship and that the federal government would not want to add to their suffering, adding that any further increase to the price of petrol could result to a violent protest by the masses, and the government would not want that to happen.

The NLC President further advised the government to tackle the unemployment problem in 2013, as this would be a major yardstick to measure the country's development.
