This is not the best of time for the Akpan family following the death of their daughter on the 3rd of November 2012. The family of a lady, Gloria Akpan, are accusing their
daughter’s lover, Ita Eyo, of killing her in his residence in Ayobo
area of Ogun State.
Masquerade234 gathered that Gloria and Eyo both from Akwa Ibom State had been
live in lovers since March 2012 before the sad incident occurred, The lady was six-month pregnant before she died.
A family source said they hinged their accusation to the fact that when he
spoke to Gloria on Friday, a day before her death, she told him that all
was well, adding that it was shocking to learn that she had died the
next day. He went on further to query the rush in burying her that day without seeing any member of the family, This is suspicious.
Father of the deceased, Edet Akpan, 66, a retiree
of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, corroborated the family
source, insisting that his child was murdered.
