As the 2012 Abuja Carnival gradually winds down, Masquerade234 camera caught some breath taking cultural display that will be unleashed gradually to readers of this blog. the Abuja Carnival which was first held in 2006 has continued to grow and attract visitors to the federal capital Territory every year.

However due to the security challenges bedeviling the country, the fortune of the carnival has continued to dwindle and the 2012 edition was not different either. inspite of these cahllenges the carnival has continued to attract foreign participants and visitors.

Masquerade234 investigations however revealed that the residents of FCT are not carried along during the planning stage of the carnival and this has resulted in some kind of apathy to the whole carnival in the territory.

So organisers should find a way og getting the people involved in the whole process so that the carnival can assume a bigger dimension in the coming years, also incentives should be given to foreign participants so as to encourage them to continue to participate.
