NSA PREDICTS BLOODY ELECTIONS IN 2015 UNLESS.......

National Security Adviser,Col. Sambo Dasuki, (rtd), has reasoned that there could be violence in the 2015 general elections going by the prevailing security situation in the country. But unlike the 2011 general elections which witnessed post election violence, Dasuki predicts that the violence which may trail the 2015 polls would be carried out before, during and after the election exercises.

The NSA Sambo Dasuki stated this at the opening of a two day workshop on security challenges in election management organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission with Friedrich Ebert-Stifung a German institution committed to the promotion of democracy, peace and social justice.

Dasuki also listed the present security challenges been faced by Nigeria to include the menace of Boko Haram in the north east, Niger delta crisis, Kidnapping and armed robbery in the south east, Ethno- religious/political crisis in Plateau State.

Masquerade234 is pondering, with all these challenges is it not time for a national conference to decide if project Nigeria is really on course or whether it should be be broken to fragment.
